BATAM, DURASI.co.id – Batam City Regional Secretary, Jefridin Hamid launched the 2023 Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Funding Month at the PMI Building, Batam City, Sunday, September, 17 2023.
The 2023 PMI Funding Month launching event was held in conjunction with the inauguration of the 2023 PMI Funding Month committee.
“I would like to thank all PMI administrators who have entrusted me as Chief Executive of PMI. With the Mayor’s permission and the support of my friends, I will carry out this mandate. Hopefully the target of IDR 1.8 billion can be achieved from the 2023 PMI Funding Month action,” he said.
According to him, this target can be achieved if everyone collaborates. Jefridin invited all parties to take part in this activity. He expressed his gratitude to the students for participating in the launching of the 2023 PMI Funding Month.
To all the committee members who had been appointed, Jefridin hoped that they could work together and collaborate in raising funds.
“We hope that with the opening of PMI Funding Month in 2023, many of us will be willing to become “Friends of PMI”. Friends of PMI is a collaborative partnership program for each child, corporation or community to become a fundraiser for this activity,” explained Chairman of the Batam City Scout Movement Kwarcab.
Asmin Patros, Secretary of PMI Batam City, said that the PMI Fund Month will last for three months.
“Starting from September, October and November,” he said.
This launching activity began with a leisurely walk, blood donation and a number of other activities.
